Is Azarraga eyeing higher post in NP?
ROXAS CITY – Is businessman Erin Azarraga quitting as provincial chairman of Nationalista Party (NP) in Capiz for a higher position?
This was the question raised by his friends and political allies after Azarraga was observed to have been busy in going to Manila and focusing on his business “Pork in a Box” (PIB)situated at the Gaisano Roxas City Mall.
In an interview with this writer, Azarraga did not confirm if he will quit in his present position as NP provincial chairman but he laughed off insinuations that he wanted for a higher position.
Azarraga said he has already put in place everything in Capiz to prepare their party for the 2010 elections.
“Everything is already in place for our presidential bet Sen. Manny,” Azarraga said.
Azarraga, who recently introduced his PIB, said that he will put two branches in Iloilo City, one branch in Antique and four branches in Manila as his business is fast growing which is already patronized by the local folks.
Azarraga, is the son of the late Atty. Edward Azarraga, a real opposition in Capiz since early 90s opposing the dominant Liberal Party (LP) in Capiz and this city.
