PSOAC Class 2009-92 induction of officers held
Atty Ruben Platon, executive director of the Philippine Public Safety College Was the inducting officer of the PSOAC Class 2009-92 last May 8 held at the PAGCOR Bacolod Hotel in Bacolod City.
Police Senior Inspector Arnold Mesias, the deputy group director of the 614th Provincial Mobile Group and the only officer from NOPPO undergoing PSOAC career advancement studies at the Regional Training School 6 in Bakyas, Barangay Mansilingan said that they are expected to graduate sometime in July of this year.
Officers inducted last Friday night were Police Senior Inspector Gaylord Loyola as president, PSI Robert Petate-vice president, Fire Senior Inspector Pamela Rojane Candido-secretary, PSI Sara Jean Recla-treasurer, FSI Rodel Legaspi-auditor and PSI Ferdinand Dordas-PIO.
Police Superintendent Redentor Retusto, regional training director of RTS6 is the course coordinator while PSI Maximo Sebastian Jr of Iloilo City is the senior class marcher.
Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office spokesman Police Chief Inspector Rico Santotome Jr said that the Public Safety Officers Advance Course (PSOAC) is a requirement for promotion to Chief Inspector (Major) in the PNP, BFP and BJMP.
