CAAP bares more employment opportunities in Kalibo
KALIBO, Aklan, — The Civil Aviations Authority of the Philippines-Kalibo announced more employment opportunities at the Kalibo International Airport but applicants should apply in Metro Manila.
CAAP-Kalibo chief Engr. Percy Malonesio said the airport is in need of customs, immigration and quarantine officers.
“We need to have a custom, quarantine and immigration officers but we want them to be a resident of Aklan so that they could have a sense of permanency of stay in the province,” Malonesio said.
Currently, the workers from customs, immigrations and quarantine services are from Iloilo City.
Meanwhile, Malonesio reported there is now a 92.8 completion report on the undergoing expansion building of the KIA which has a P48-million budget.
The CAAP-Kalibo hoped to finish the expansion of the building by October. (PNA)
