The 3 above-mentioned months are considered the “peak arrival”months for Korean students. It is during these months that the bulk of Korean students arrive in Bacolod under the Special English Studies Program offered by language schools in the city.
The 1st phase of the project is July, 2009, 2nd phase in August and on September, 2009. Each phase will have Pre-Program Activities – pep-talks conducted in the different schools to welcome the students; distribution of all kinds of information on Bacolod City supported by an audio-visual presentation.
The 2nd phase will also have a program proper to be held in the lobby of the new government center. During the program Korean schools’ selected students who were given info materials on the city will be featured and winners will be awarded with native souvenirs they can bring home to Korea. These souvenir items will serve as promotional materials for Bacolod City.
