A Bar Chow Like No Other
Chill out with Mojave and Bauhinia’s appetizers and cocktails
Night life at The Avenue is getting better because of the appetizers and cocktails being offered by Mojave Grill and Steak House and Bauhinia Filipino Cuisine.
“Bar Chow,” as it is called, refers to the varied mouth-watering appetizers that chef Warl has created for everybody to enjoy.
A must try is the Pork Chicharon, which is crispy yet easy to eat. It’s not your usual chicharon wherein you have to deal with the cumbersome crumbs.
Don’t miss the Potato Skin, which can be dipped in mustard. You’d love conversing with your companions when you’re munching on the Potato Skin in between interesting topics.
Meat lovers would enjoy the Pork Riblets. Deep fried and smothered with spices, I think it’s a better alternative to Crispy Pata because it’s easier to manage, eat and more flavorful.
Nacho lovers will enjoy Beef and Beans Nachos. A great source of protein, indeed.
There are actually more Bar Chow offerings at Mojave Grill and Steak House and Bauhinia Filipino Cuisine. Those with the beer mug icon on their menu list are exciting appetizers you can enjoy.
Order some of Bauhinia Filipino Cuisine’s cocktails to go with these. There’s the Daiquiri, a smooth blend of rum, lime juice, triple sec and fruit juice that comes in mango, strawberry and pineapple variations. Try out the Colada, a mixture of tropical rum, coconut crème and your choice of flavors like Pina Colada, Banana Colada or Mango Rhum colada. Also sip Sunrise, a two-tone magical blend of tequila, fruit juices and grenadine that come in different varieties – Tequila, Four Seasons and Hawaiian.
Have these gastronomic delights as you witness the flairtending show being held at The Avenue every Friday and Saturday.
