Roxas City to give aid to typhoon Ondoy victims in Manila
ROXAS CITY – The city government has alloted P500,000 as financial aid for the victims of typhoon Ondoy in Metro Manila and Luzon.
City Mayor Vicente Bermejo also launched Sulong-Tulong which aims to gather relief goods and additional donations for the typhoon victims.
Mr. Rey Cordenillo said in a radio interview that the city council will appropriate the amount intended for flood victims brought about by typhoon Ondoy where hundreds of people died.
He added that the donations will all be channeled to the City Social Welfare and Development Office and will be given to areas badly hit by the massive flooding brought by “Ondoy.”
