Orosco couple’s 39th wedding anniv, Nanay Meding’s 84th bday
ROXAS CITY – Sapian Mayor Arturo “Turic” Orosco, Sr. and wife Dr. Vangie Oñas Orosco will celebrate their 39th wedding anniversary on Sunday, October 25, while former Mayor Remedios “Nanay Meding” Oñas will also be celebrating her 84th birthday.
Oñas, mother of Dr. Vangie, finished a three-year term as mayor of Sapian leaving legacies in terms of projects for the development of the town.
Invited guests are residents and political allies. The senior citizens of Sapian will also be special guests of the affair as the celebration of the Senior Citizens Week falls on that day.
Orosco couple, who runs the family-owned nine campuses of St. Francis of Asisi in Manila, came out from their comfort zone in Manila for public service with Sapianons.
Meanwhile, the Sapian mayor said that a leadership seminar which will be attended by barangay officials and department heads for personnel development will be on November 6–9 at Villa Oro in Boracay Island.
Expected speakers will be coming from Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and other government agencies.
