Niña’s a woman now
Niña Angelica Gapasin turned 18 this year. Proud parents (Ret.) Bgen. Roberto Gapasin, Jr. and Maura Advincula Gapasin were glad to present their “Anin” to the world of adulthood.
Foregoing a car as the original gift for her birthday, Niña set out on celebrating her debut and her siblings helped her prepare for it.
Niña’s stunning gown was designed and created by no other than Eric de los Santos. The night’s highlight was the formal dance of the debutante with her 18 roses (choreographed by Eddie Juatas). She was escorted by a family friend, Robin Jarvis Uy.
The Sunset Ballroom of Hotel del Rio was so alive that night. The venue looked enchanting, thanks to the touch of Dennis Ochoa.
Vice Mayor Jed Mabilog came to greet the debutante. Niña’s nephew’s prepared a special number. All her ‘single lady friends’ rendered a ‘Beyonce’ dance number while her siblings surprised Niña with their sexy “Samba” dance number choreographed by Eddie Juatas.
Niña, according to her family and friends is a very simple person. She would always wear jeans, T-shirts, sneakers and oftentimes, Havaianas as her every day footwear. Her cellphone and IPOD comprise her comfort zone. She’s fond of listening to music. Niña always hangs out with her family during weekends as well as with her friends. She also goes malling with her siblings.
