Rep. Plaza sets Iloilo City sorties
Representative Rodolfo “Ompong” Plaza of Agusan del Sur will be having a sortie in Iloilo City starting this Friday night until Sunday morning.
Atty. Dan Cartagena, coordinator of Congressman Plaza’s visit, said the solon will be meeting with local folks and barangay officials of Mandurriao upon his arrival Friday afternoon. In the evening the congressman will be gracing the National Executive Convention of the Philippine Councilors League in Amigo Hotel after which he will be having a dinner with prominent political leaders in the city and province of Iloilo.
The following day Saturday (Nov. 7) Cong. Plaza, who plans to run for senator in the 2010 election, will be meeting with several barangay officials and local folks in La Paz district and will visit the Iloilo Central Market and Iloilo Terminal Market, the two biggest public markets in the city, to see for himself the situation and chat with the officers of the market vendors association.
Around 10 a.m. of the same day, Cong. Plaza will serve as speaker and guest at the meeting of the different bishops, pastors and religious leaders of the Assemblies of God Bethel Temple Inc. headed by Bishop Johnny Yasa, D.D. at Bonifacio Drive, Iloilo City.
The afternoon of Saturday is reserved for different media interviews and fellowship with Cong. Plaza.
Sunday morning Cong. Plaza will be having breakfast with some business leaders. It will be followed by a live interview at a popular cable television program in Sarabia Manor Hotel.
