Seminar-training on Civil Registration forms, rules set
The National Statistics Office (NSO) will be conducting a one-day Training Seminar on Civil Registration forms at the Korean Grille Tuesday, November 3.
Training fee is P800 which includes NSO manual kit, lunch, two snacks and a certificate of attendance.
The training aims to familiarize the participants on the various forms the civil registrar is using and the proper way of filling-up theses forms.
University Professor Doulos (servant) Joy Vingno said the civil registrar’s office have new rules and forms that ministers, midwives and even laypersons need to know in order to properly document a person.
Vingno, who is also the chief of the association of officiating ministers in Negros. Occ., has embarked on a campaign to institutionalize and professionalize the officiating of marriage and the performance of other church related rites by ordaining ministers and have them registered with the NSO.
Recently, his group went to Hamtik, Antique to ordain two ministers belonging to the indigenous people church group.
He is inviting the public interested in this activity to take part in the training. (PIA-LOL)
