Waxworks V: ‘Kilometrahe Trese’
At Negros Museum, WAXWORKS–an inter-active exhibit presentation by The Performance Laboratory, had been ongoing during every Halloween, and on its fifth year now presents KILOMETRAHE TRESE.
Kilometrahe Trese is a fifteen-minute walking exposition through the seven chambers, each designed to give you the creeps, and out in the open where a more realistic ambiance presents folklore about local paranormal spirits and beings such as the bagat, murto, kamakama, aswang, sota, etc.
Upon entering the chamber, one will have the feeling of walking through the highway at night with just the glimmer of the moon that silhouettes the trees and terrains of Kilometrahe Trese, while, the storyteller narrates the horrors and the ghastly creatures believed ubiquitous in the place.
The spine-chilling stories of origins and characters of these spirits and beings will terrify you. But, shocking realizations that these horrors are lurking in front, beside and behind you in these chambers, inevitably elicit frightful screams that leave you drained or exhausted or waxed/whacked.
