Kabankalan library ranks No. 4 in WV
The Kabankalan City library ranked number four in Region VI in the search for Outstanding City Libraries in the Philippines.
Number one is Bacolod City; number two, Talisay City; number three, San Carlos City; and Sagay City, number five.
In the national ranking, Davao City is number one; Dagupan City, number 2; Angeles City, number three; Zamboanga City, number 4; Bacolod City, number five and Talisay City, number six.
The criteria for the contest are Institutional Circumstances, 5%; Information Resources/Collection, 30%; Budget, 10%; Human Resources, 20%; Services, 15%; Physical Facilities, 15% and Outreach, 5%.
The Kabankalan City library is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Eddie Yap)
