17 PNP officers to assume new assignments
Effective December 3, a total of 17 police officers will assume new posts in a minor reshuffling at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.
As contained in Special Orders number 166 dated December 1, 2009, Police Senior Inspector Arnold Mesias Jr will be reassigned to NOPPO Headquarters vice Police Inspector Robert Mansueto as chief of Hinoba-an PNP.
On the other hand, Police Senior Inspector Jose Laboyo will be transferred to Camp Alfredo Montelibano in Barangay Estefania. He will be replaced by Police Inspector Edencio Gregorio as Manapla PNP chief.
Police Inspector Romeo Vargas will assume the post soon to be vacated by Police Inspector Teddy Velez as La Castellana Police Station chief.
Other NOPPO officers up for reassignment are Police Inspectors John Joel Batusbatusan (611th PMG), John Ganzon (613th PMG), Lowel Garinganao (614th PMG) and Velez (612th PMG) as deputy group directors.
Eight others will be reassigned as deputy city police chiefs according to Police Chief Inspector Regidor Alvarado, chief of NOPPO’s Administrative Branch.
Police Inspectors Hector Tanio (Bago City PNP), Edfel Balibadlan (Cadiz City PNP), Rollie Pondevilla (Escalante Cty PNP), Gil John Despi (Himamaylan City PNP), Anthony Grande (La Carlota City PNP), Jesus Mesahon Jr (Silay City PNP), Sherlock Gabana (Sipalay City PNP) and Clifford Batadhay (Victorias City PNP) will be designated as deputy police chiefs effective December 3.
Negros Occidental PNP provincial director Police Senior Superintendent Manuel Felix stressed that the minor reshuffling and reassignment of officers is in line with NOPPO’s thrust in putting the right man for the right job as part of the Team NEGROS action plan.
