DepEd to conduct early enrollment for Grade I pupils
The Department of Education (DepEd) will have an early enrollment for the incoming Grade I pupils as part of its campaign to increase the number of children obtaining education by next school year.
DepEd OIC-Regional Director Mildred Garay said that the enrollment for school year 2010-2011 will start in January 2010.
Parents who have five or six year old children could already enroll their kids for Grade I and need not wait for them to become seven years old.
Dr. Garay said that they have been conducting information dissemination about the early enrollment in order for parents to know and to increase enrollment by next school year. (PNA)
