Contreras passes most number of resolutions in Capiz SP
ROXAS CITY – Board Member Esteban “Nonoy” Contreras has the highest number of authored resolutions at the Capiz Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) from January 1 to December 23, 2009.
With 20 authored resolutions, Contreras also sponsored 19 ordinances and resolutions last year.
Next to Contreras is the committee of the whole with 17 authored resolutions, followed by Board Member Baden Cantiller and Board Member Gilbert Ardivilla who tied with 4 resolutions.
Liga President Clemente Castro Firmalino has made 3 resolutions while Board Members Nenita Martelino, Vincent Fritz Cruz Am and Bettina Bayot tied with 2 resolutions and Board Member Enrique Martin has one.
Meanwhile, Martin has also the highest sponsored resolutions and ordinances with 68; Board Member Alfonso Bediones, 23; Contreras, 19; Cruz Am, 15; Cantiller, 14; David Felix Bauson, 12; Ardivilla, 11; Advincula, 10; Bayot, 6; Martelino, 2 and Firmalino and Raymund Locsin tied with 1.
Reports from the office of the SP secretary revealed that overall last year there were 181 resolutions adopted, 6 ordinances, 23 appropriation ordinances, and 38 sessions, 11 of which did not have quorum.
