CAPELCO sets tri-media night
ROXAS CITY – The Capiz Electric Cooperative (CAPELCO) will host a fellowship night with local tri-media practitioners on Jan. 29 here to renew and strengthen its partnership with mediamen towards effective and efficient public service.
The fellowship has been institutionalized by the cooperative as a yearly event to open up communications between CAPELCO and media.
CAPELCO which has achieved complete energization of all barangays in the province in March 2005, supports President Gloria Macapagal–Arroyo’s rural electrification program to speed up the development in the countryside.
Government data show that barangay electrification in the country has reached 99.39 percent last year that has resulted in a better quality of life and progress among Filipinos.
The achievement is in line with President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s Ten-Point Agenda which mandated the electric cooperatives to provide reliable and quality electric service to the community. (PIA/A.Lumaque)
