Capiz has new provincial auditor
ROXAS CITY – Capiz province under the leadership of Governor Victor Tanco, Sr. has a new provincial auditor in the person of Mrs. Marilou Sumcad.
Tanco said that he welcomes Sumcad as new provincial auditor of the province of Capiz.
Sumcad was introduced during a one-day training seminar on Laws and Rules on Government Expenditures held at the Hall of Governors, Capiz Provincial Capitol.
The newly-appointed official who is a Certified Public Accountant is a native of Sara, Iloilo.
Sumcad revealed the objectives of the province’s auditing system on the morning session of the seminar.
Present in the event were representatives from local government units, Acting Provincial Administrator Francisco Dariagan, Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Chairman Antonio Arbis, Dr. Sam Delfin of IPHO and Atty. Ernie Arcenas of Provincial Accounting Office.
