Guy kills self after he was not given money for Valentine’s day
ROXAS CITY – A 20 year-old man committed suicide after his father refused to give him money to be spent for this coming Valentine’s day.
Allen Dieta of Detiles Street, Brgy. Tiza this city, was found lifeless yesterday morning after he hanged himself at the mango tree near their house using a plastic knot.
Initial investigation conducted by elements of Roxas City police station revealed that on the evening of February 10 the victim and his father had a heated argument as the former asked for money for Valentine’s day.
The victim who is a member of the dance group left their house during that night and at around 6 a.m. yesterday, his family was surprised to see him hanging at the mango tree.
Reportedly, the victim attempted to kill himself by slashing his pulse twice but was pacified by his parents.
