PASWI-Negros, PNRC turns over P600T to city gov’t
The Philippine Association of Social Workers Inc. (PASWI) Negros Occidental Chapter and the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) turned over a check amounting to P 600,000.00 to the city government recently.
Mayor Evelio Leonardia expressed gratitude to the two groups for their support to the various livelihood and skills training programs of the city government and for being the active partners in bringing quality and affordable services to the many Bacoleños.
The amount will be used to fund seminars, skills trainings and other cross-learning activities for social workers and the Department of Social Services and Development and also to help finance the city government’s blood donation program for the indigent residents of Bacolod.
