Iloilo girds for fusion of Semana Santa, Semana sang Iloilo activities
Iloilo provincial government will launch this year the first ever fusion of the Semana Santa (Holy Week) and Semana sang Iloilo activities dubbed as Semana Santa sang Iloilo 2010.
Atty. Joenar Pueblo, executive director of Provincial Council for Culture, Arts, History and Tourism, in a press conference yesterday said they have decided to incorporate activities for the two celebrations because the Holy Week falls on the dates where Semana sang Iloilo is held.
