He said that his policemen are prepared for deployment in their assigned voting centers Capiz.
Angan said that a minimum of two police personnel will be assigned in each clustered precinct here, covering about two to three voting precincts.
According to him, the Police Regional Office in Western Visayas had already deployed some 190 PNP men to augment the police force in Capiz.
On the other hand, Angan revealed that three municipalities in Capiz, namely Pilar, Dumarao and Tapaz, are included in the election watch list areas.
On the other hand, he said that while most of the PNP personnel are already securing the precinct count optical scan (PCOS) machines, the PNP mobile forces in the first and second congressional districts of Capiz will continue to undertake security measures and law enforcement activities.
Angan also added that in identified insurgency infiltrated areas here, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, particularly the Philippine Army, will be deployed to secure the areas.
Among those towns that will be saturated by the Philippine Army are Maayon, Cuartero, Dumarao, Tapaz, Jamindan, Dumalag, Sigma and Mambusao, he said. (PIA/Jemin B. Guillermo)
