INC-Capiz supports majority of LP’s bets
ROXAS CITY – Majority of the local candidates of Liberal Party (LP) here is being supported by the The Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in Capiz province.
RMN-dyVR station manager Ely Abarra, said in his program “Straight to the point”, that in a mass held yesterday morning, the INC revealed that they will support 1st District Cong. Antonio del Rosario, Capiz Gov. Victor Tanco, Sr., and running mate for vice governor Board Member Nonoy Contreras.
For 1st district board member candidates, the INC likewise will support Former Board Member Blesilda Almalbis of Ugyon Kita Capiz (UKC), David Felix Bauson, Jonathan Besa, Atty. Remia Fuentes and Roberto Ignacio, all of LP.
The said religious organization also will throw support to City Mayoralty Candidate Alan Celino and running mate Vice Mayor Ronnie Dadivas
For city councilors, the INC will support five UKC, four LP and one independent. They are: Carla Abela, Greg Arcenas and Jose Agdalipe, Ramon “Nonoy” Albar, Teresa Almalbis, all of UKC; Tawi Billones, Jr., Powell del Rosario, Elson Londres and City Councilor Erwin Sicad, all of LP and City Councilor Herbert Chu, independent.
The INC in Capiz has some 8,000 followers.
