Man dies for trying to pacify quarreling couple
ROXAS CITY – A man who tried to pacify a quarreling couple was stabbed dead last Sunday evening at Brgy. Bato-Bato, Mambusao, Capiz.
Mambusao police investigator identified the victim as Oreda y Ortega of legal age and resident of the same place.
The suspect was also identified as Enogado, legal age of the same place, husband of the victim’s sister.
Police investigator said that the incident took place at around 7:00 p.m. on May 29 when the victim tried to pacify the warring couple.
However, the suspect got irked prompting him to get his knife and stab the victim at his breast.
The victim was rushed to Mambusao District Hospital but declared dead on arrival by attending physician.
The is still conducting a manhunt operation against the suspect who fled after committing the crime.
