PhilHealth staff, awardee for public service
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office VI, in line with their “Mamayan Muna Program–Gantimpala Agad Award” has commended Ms. Janimhe C. Cam, Public Relations Officer I of PhilHealth Regional Office VI, for her prompt, adequate and courteous delivery of public service.
The Certificate of Recognition was bestowed during the June 28, 2010 Monday ceremony at PhilHealth Regional Office VI by Atty. Raymund F. Gonzales, Director III of CSC 6.
According to Gonzales, anyone especially the client may recommend any government employee who displays extra-exceptional service. The Commission then validates the information if it is worthy of recognition.
Ms. Cam is from the Public Affairs Unit and attends to clients either personally, thru phone or by-mail. She also augments to other Units like manning the Service desks.
RVP Marilyn C. Geduspan, PhilHealth 6 Head is proud of the award. “It gratifies the whole PhRO VI. It reaffirms the positive public perception of Philhealth Regional Office VI’s way of service”.
The awardee did not expect to receive such noble recognition. According to her she is just delivering her best every time she deals with clients in and outside the office. “I share this recognition to all PhRO 6’s employees. None of this will be achieved without the support of other staff from other Section. For instance, if the concern deals with membership registration/updating, PreMIS people are much ready to extend assistance”.
“People beseech our help and keep on asking questions because they have problems with their PhilHealth. Helping by listening and giving proper advice to solve their difficulties make them happy if not satisfied,” her immediate supervisor, Larry Tabsing maintained. “Several clients coming to the Unit are “difficult” ones ; some were referred by media people after first seeking their help.”
PhilHealth 6 believes that there are also personnel in the front-line more so those working at the backroom who are displaying excellent work attitude. The former being appreciated by external clients while the latter is observed and valued by his/her co-employee and supervisor.
PhilHealth commits to fulfill its pledge of providing speedy, professional and quality service to all clients. For indeed, stakeholder’s satisfaction is PhilHealth’s fulfillment.
