GT Cosmetics Launches New Packaging
GT Cosmetics, famous for their beauty soaps, launched their new packaging before members of the Iloilo press and some beauty consultants recently.
Leonora Salvane, founder and owner of GT Cosmetics was present. Joining her were Jellie Marie Salvane, pharmacist; Jeng Doblas, Vismin sales supervisor; Doris Mongaya, managing director of PR Works; and Bong Galarpe of PR Works.
Three models presented the three soaps – GT Carrot Soap (anti-aging and skin whitening), GT Bleaching Soap (skin whitening) and GT Papaya Soap (skin whitening).
According to Ms. Salvane, these soaps contain pure herbal extracts and anti-aging formula. They also have highly-refined coconut oil base that leaves the skin moisturized after using, preventing drying and scaling of the skin.
I’ve been using GT Carrot Soap after some colleagues told me that the products are effective and so far, I could say that Ms. Salvane’s claims are true. There are no side effects.
GT Carrot Soap contains beta carotene (Vitamin A) that is known to promote younger-looking skin.
GT’s Papaya soap uses papaya, one of the best natural extracts used in cosmetic brands today because of its natural exfoliating and whitening effects. Thanks to papain, a natural enzyme, skin is renewed.
GT’s Bleaching Soap contains “tawas” that has a natural bleaching and deodorizing effect.
Amazingly, these soaps are hand-made. According to Ms. Salvane, she wants to ensure the quality of her products as well as continue to provide employment to many workers. “Our production is different from that of mainstream soap. We call our soaps ‘homemade’. I promised myself to maintain this process. This is the kind of quality that our clients like,” she said.
Ms. Salvane revealed that they will soon launch more products -
sun block, cleanser, astringent, moisturizing cream, bleaching cream, and clarifiance.
GT’s soaps are available in Iloilo Supertmart, SM Delgado and SM City Iloilo and will soon be present in Robinsons Place Iloilo.
