Gumban pledges to move PNP organization forward
ROXAS CITY – Senior Supt. Renato Gumban, who will assume as Capiz police director on August 25, has pledged to focus on moving forward the Philippine National Police during his term in the province.
He said he wants to sustain the respect of the people and the community the police has sworn to serve and protect.
During the turn-over rites tomorrow, Gumban will replace Senior Supt. Josepheus Angan, who served Capiz since July 2008, and will be assigned to Police Regional Office 7.
Gumban, a member of the Philippine Military Academy Class 1985, has previously served as Iloilo Police Provincial Office director.
In late 1980’s, Gumban was also assigned in Capiz.
