Orosco couple to renew vows in 40th wedding rites
ROXAS CITY – Sapian Mayor Arturo Orosco Sr. and his wife Evangeline will renew their marriage vows during their 40th wedding anniversary celebration on October 16.
A Eucharistic celebration will be held at 3 p.m. at St. Anne Parish Church in Sapian. Reception will follow at Hermana Hall of the Orosco residence.
The couple’s renewal of marriage vows will be celebrated by Capiz Archbishop Onesimo Gordoncillo, D.D. as main celebrant, and Rev. Fr. Freddie Billanes as homilist, rector of St. Pius X Seminary.
Some 40 priests led by Most Rev. Msgr. Vicente Hilata, P.A., VG. will also be Eucharistic celebrants during the mass.
The couple’s principal sponsors are: Dr. Nilo Rosas, Dr. Oscar Baustista, Atty. Ignacio Bunye, Atty. Fernando Rafanan, Madam Cynthia Villar, Dr. Mona Valisno, Dr. Rosalina Fuentes, and Sr. Flor Pauline Duran.
The mayor’s wife, daughter of former Mayor Remedios Oñas, said she wishes a long life with her husband through the God blessings.*
