Tesoro assumes as PRO6 OIC
Following the departure of Chief Supt. Samuel Pagdilao Jr., Chief Supt. Ernesto Tesoro has been named officer-in-charge of the Police Regional Office 6.
Tesoro, deputy regional police director for administration of PRO 6, will serve in acting capacity until the Philippine National Police headquarters assigns a regional police director for Western Visayas.
Reports said Pagdilao will be succeeded by Chief Supt. Cipriano Querol, director of Police Community Relations Group, but there is word yet on who will succeed Pagdilao.
Querol was previously provincial police director of Capiz.
Pagdilao was transferred to the Police Regional Office 4-A in the Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon area last October 15.
During his more than three-month stint in Region 6, Pagdilao implemented the “Pulis Ko, Titser Ko” project with the Department of Education and the Philippine National Police-Media Protocol during Crisis Situation.*NLG
