6 Capiz mediamen running for barangay councilman
ROXAS CITY – Six mediamen in Capiz are seeking posts as barangay councilman in today’s barangay election.
They are Joven Anisco and Jessie Llege, both anchormen of Radio Mo Nationwide (RMN) dyVR; John Herredea, Botsoy Obienda and Bro. Franck Manabat of Fil-Vision/Alto Cable TV; and Rexam Laguda of Wesfardell Cable TV.
Anisco and Llege, anchormen of “Targetanay sa Udto” and “ RMN Brigada 657,” respectively, are running in Libas, Roxas City and Brgy. Jagnaya, Jamindan.
Herredea, host of “Abri-Aga,” is seeking reelection in Brgy. Tiza, Roxas City while reporter Botsoy Obienda, is running also in the same place. Manabat, host of “Ito ang Totoo,” is seeking a post in Brgy. Milibili, Roxas City.
Rexam Laguda, anchorman of daily news and public affairs program “Budyong Kapihan” on Wesfardell Cable TV, is running for reelection in Brgy. Tanza, Roxas City.
The six mediamen went on leave since the start of the campaign period.
Their respective media outlets allowed them to run without resigning from their anchor or reportorial positions.*
