Iloilo Sports Complex up for major repairs
The Iloilo Sports Complex will undergo major repairs in preparation for the West Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet that the province will host in February next year.
ISC Administrator Francisco Heler said a budget of P12 million has been set aside for the repair and repainting of the various ISC facilities.
The budget was included in the supplemental budget passed by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan last Tuesday.
Heler said among those to be repaired and refurbished are the play courts such as basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, the swimming pool, and the track oval.
The perimeter fence and the comfort rooms will also be repaired and repainted.
Heler said the ISC covered gym located 200 meters away from the main complex will also undergo major repair with a budget of P13 million starting next year.
The last time ISC underwent major repair was in 1991.*
