Killed pregnant woman not raped–autopsy
The seven-month pregnant woman who was found dead in Estancia was not raped, autopsy results show.
Dr. Greg Sumile, who examined the body of 21-year-old Gretchen Gale Alimios, said the genitals of the victim was intact.
When her cadaver was found, the victim was almost naked, her blouse pushed above her breasts.
Sumile, however, said her clothing was unaligned probably because her body was dragged.
He added the victim’s cause of death is the fatal wound on her head.
She also had scratches and bruises on her back and slight burns due to strangulation on her neck.
The victim fought her assailants considering the defense wounds on her hands, Sumile added.
Alimios failed to go home last October 26. The next day, her relatives reported her missing to Estancia Police Station and later her body, already in advanced state of decomposition, was found inside the public cemetery.
Suspect Jaypee Demandante was immediately arrested as he was the last person seen with Alimios. Scratches were found on his neck.
Charges for double murder are being prepared against Demandante, the police said.*
