Seafarer found dead
An apprentice seafarer was found dead aboard a cargo vessel that was docked at the Muelle Loney in Iloilo City Monday morning.
Supt. Edmund Gonzales, regional chief of the 6th Regional Maritime Office, said Joven Tadifa was found dead by his companions inside the M/V Aceford owned by the Seaford Top Corp.
He was brought to the Iloilo St Paul’s Hospital by the Iloilo City Emergency Response but he was declared dead by the attending physician.
Based on findings, Tadifa, a native of Leganes, Iloilo died due to heart failure.*PNA
