Mass tree planting set at Calajunan tomorrow
The Iloilo City Population Office will lead a mass tree planting activity in Mandurriao district’s Calajunan Wedding Eco Park on November 23.
Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog and other city officials will join in the planting of some 500 seedlings.
This activity is part of the city government’s Population Management Program and campaign for responsible parenthood.

It will kick off with a city-wide caravan of tree planters from the city proper to Calajunan area in the afternoon.
Other participants include Barangay Service Points Officers, employees of various government agencies, and representatives from the private sector and the media.
The undertaking is part of the annual Population and Development Week (PDW) celebration of the Commission on Population, from November 23 to 29 this year.*
