Smut DVDs vendor nabbed
A vendor of pornographic DVDs was arrested yesterday morning by the team of Iloilo City Task Force on Internet and Gaming Center, Anti-piracy and Pornography (TF-IGCAPP) during a buy-bust operation at Corner Valeria-Ledesma Streets.
The suspect, Tanggol Nizzar, 24, is temporarily staying in Magdalo, La Paz City.
He was placed under citizen’s arrest while selling 16 pieces of smut DVDs,
a violation of a city ordinance and a national law on anti-pornography.
Nizzar was arrested by the Task Force operatives under chairman Ben Palma Jr., with the team led by Cezar Pioquinto and members Darwin Sugcang, Ariel Ordaniel, Earl John Enojado and Rene Baldonasa.
They were assisted by Police Officer 3 Joshua Sangcap of the Investigation Section of Iloilo City Police Office.
The suspect was turned over to the ICPO.*
