Earth statements: A fashion show for the environment

The Workers for the Environment and Health (W.E. HEAL), a group of professionals committed to improving human life by respecting all forms of life, feels that human health and the environment are intimately interconnected.
W.E. HEAL has had various projects in its 4 years of existence: a MOA with the city government for the implementation of the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act or RA 9003; a major player in the anti-smoking and waste water treatment (LINAW) programs. WE HEAL is also involved in the rehabilitation and preservation of the Maasin watershed, mangrove rehabilitation and preservation. WE HEAL is actively pushing for renewable sources of energy while opposing the proposed coal-fired power plant. In 2003, WE HEAL sponsored the HEALING WALK from Sara to Iloilo City, the proceeds of which was donated to the WVMC pediatric ward in the form of hospital equipment. WE HEAL continues to promote environmental awareness by touring schools, colleges, and universities and giving lectures.
To help support these various projects, W.E. HEAL brings to you their biggest fundraising project to date - EARTH STATEMENTS: A Dinner / Fashion Show by Iloilo's fashion prince, ERIC DE LOS SANTOS, one of the most sought after fashion designers in the metro today. The show will be held on November 25, 2005, Friday at the Iloilo Grand Hotel. Dinner is at 7 pm while the fashion show will start at 9 pm. The show will be directed by Aldrich Aparicio and will also feature both Manila and local ramp models.
This special endeavor is for the benefit of the different projects of W.E. HEAL and for the conservation, preservation, and restoration (CPR) of Mother Earth.
