CREBA to hold shelter and tourism forum
Chamber of Real Estate and Business Association (CREBA) - Iloilo chapter and the Jaro cultural and Heritage Tourism will hold a joint forum on October 10, at the Amigo Terrace Hotel function room, in this city.
CREBA president Engr. Ramon Hechanova said that the focus of the discussion will be issues on house and land investments for the realtors and the efforts at reviving the district of Jaro as a tourism destination for the members of the Jaro Cultural and Heritage group.
Among the other issues which will be tackled are the problems of the shelter agencies, the concerns of the Iloilo City Hall, utilities and the barangay officials.
Hechanova said that CREBA has a national mandate to support the government's call for affordable quality shelter programs for the people. He also said he will open the forum to the public, and those interested shall make their reservations and provision as they order.
Hechanova added that the CREBA national convention is set in Baguio on October 19, while the Panay Tourism Development is set to be finalized on the last week of October. (PIA 6/ESS)
