Drilon won't run for CongressSenator Franklin Drilon will not run for congressman of Iloilo City this coming May 14 election. This was disclosed by Governor Niel Tupas after their group's meeting last Friday. Tupas said, in the meeting of the United Opposition group in the city and province of Iloilo which was attended by Senator Drilon the latter expressed that he will not run for congressman of the city erasing doubts about his rumored political plan. Earlier, Drilon transferred his voter's registration from San Juan, Metro Manila to Iloilo City raising suspicions about his plan to run for congressman in the city. |
