Cops identify gay murder victim
Police in the Province of Antique now have the identity of a 20 year-old gay murdered in Barangay Poblacion, Municipality of Hamtic.
The killing took place early Tuesday morning with ensuing police investigation unvcovering yet more details surrounding the incident.
In a report, The News Today (TNT) gathered that the victim hailed from Banate, Iloilo and a temporary resident of Dalipe, San Jose, Antique.
Police Inspector Christopher Rodriguez, Hamtic Police Office chief told Bombo Radyo Iloilo that suspect in the killing is one Loel Bongay of Barangay Ingwan-Batawan here.
Authorities said the duo got into a heated confrontation over a missing pair of slippers blamed on the suspect. The two were with a local carnival currently in Hamtic.
Murder weapon has yet to be recovered.
