City gov’t mulls free flu vaccination to employees
The city government here is planning to provide free flu vaccination to all its interested employees, whether regular, casual or even volunteer workers.
Mayor Jerry P. Treñas Monday directed all department heads to account all their employees who are willing to avail of the free vaccination against common flu.
The mayor said that the vaccination although it is not for the A/H1N1 flu virus could spare employees from committing absences or spending too much on medicines should they suffer from the infection.
Also included in the list of city workers who can avail the free flu vaccines are barangay service point officers, supplemental feeding program workers and other volunteer workers. (PNA)
