Off Road Challenge
The mere sight of these real life toys never fails to fascinate all ages and to see them in action is another exciting experience one would cherish.
These toys for the big boys are so beautiful to ogle at in their shimmering glory of the gloss finishes of cowls and under chassis. Underneath the hood you will further be amazed with its clean and orderly tubes and wiring connections. These toys arrive on board carrier trucks or towed by Ford Expeditions. Overall, one would think that its appearance is for a show and has to be protected from dust and grimes.
But it’s none of those. These are real toys meant to be played rough. Off-roaders are built and designed to undergo, endure and overcome the most extreme tracks the big boys may think of.
It’s exciting to watch these big toys roar to life from the starting line. It will then race for the best time they can muster through a 45-degree steep mound climb, slippery soft mud holes run, maneuver through a zigzag of man made ravines that keeps getting deeper for every pass, be submerged in water, further run through irregular mounds, again be submerged in a similar pond for the final stretch and hit finish line.
This off road challenge was recently held by the National Association of Filipino Off-Roaders [NASFOR] in Robinsons Place – Bacolod.
