SM Christmas Village
Engr. Gilbert Domingo & Girlie Libo-on of SM, DOT 6 Director Edwin Trompeta and Precious Moments' Rulf Baniqued.Upon learning that Precious Moments’ Christmas Village is coming to Iloilo, I was excited. I visited this remarkable village when I was at Sampaguita Gardens in Kalibo and I was awed with the numerous dolls of different sizes, shapes, colors and dresses in every floor of the Christmas Village. Now, a smaller replica of this sight is at SM City Iloilo, bringing cheer to people of all ages. There, one can view and purchase dolls, figurines and Christmas ornaments. Sweets and breads from Jojo’s Christmas Cottage can also be availed of.
Precious Moments was created by Samuel Butcher, one of America’s contemporary and most beloved artists who draws in oil, watercolor, acrylic, and mixed-mediums.
A picture taking with Santa can also be availed at the Precious Moments Christmas Village, the schedule of which is: December 22, 24-25, 3 PM - 6 PM.
The village will be at SM City until Dec. 31, 2009.
