Iloilo leg of PCOS machine demo until Feb. 22
The demonstration on how to use the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machine being conducted by the Commission on Elections (Comelec)-Iloilo has been taking place in the different municipalities of Iloilo since January 22 and will wind up February 22, 2010.
From January 22 to 28, the demonstration, which is part of the voter’s education campaign had been conducted in eight municipalities of the province. These are Guimbal, Tigbauan, Pototan, San Enrique, San Rafael, Barotac Viejo, Banate and Ajuy.
As per schedule obtained from Comelec-Iloilo the demonstration will be held in the following municipalities from January 29 to February 22:
Jan. 29 – Duenas and Dingle
Jan. 30 – Bingawan and Calinog
Feb. 1 – Mina and Dumangas
Feb. 3 – New Lucena and Pavia
Feb. 4 – Zarraga and Leganes
Feb. 5 – Anilao and Barotac Nuevo
Feb. 6 – Maasin and Badiangan
Feb. 8 – Lemery and Estancia
Feb. 9 – Batad and Balasan
Feb. 10 - San Dionisio and Concepcion
Feb. 11 – Sara
Feb. 12 - Leon and Alimodian
Feb. 13 - San Miguel and Santa Barbara
Feb. 15 – Carles
Feb. 16 - Cabatuan and Lambunao
Feb. 17 - San Joaquin
Feb. 18 - Tubungan and Igbaras
Feb. 19 - Miag-ao and Oton
Feb. 20 – Janiuay
Feb. 22 - Passi City
