Parricide charge up against wife ‘killer’
Police are now preparing parricide raps against a man who allegedly killed his wife in Janiuay town, Iloilo.
Reports said that 40-year old Alex Talla stabbed his wife, 35-year old Leah, inside their house at Brgy. Damu-ong, Janiuay.
An investigator of Janiuay Police Station said that the couple had a heated confrontation Friday morning.
It was not confirmed what triggered the argument between the husband and wife but reports pointed to Alex getting jealous with Leah.
The jealousy then led Alex to confront his wife.
At the height of their verbal tussle, reports said that Alex got hold of a knife and thrust it to his wife.
Leah was hit in the stomach causing her death.
After the incident, Talla fled and remains at large, as of press time.
Leah left four children.
