Recruitment of 750 new cops still going on
Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) announces the extension of its recruitment program until December 1 though the first batch of qualified applicants is tentatively set to take their oath of office on July 1 and another batch on October 1.
“The extension is to encourage more applicants and give the recruitment board enough time to choose deserving applicants in terms of skills, competence, and moral uprightness,” PRO6 regional director, Chief Superintendent Isagani Cuevas said.
About 500 applicants have already submitted their documentary requirements for evaluation.
This recruitment will fill-up vacancies in ranks due to separation, death, retirement, dropping from rolls and dismissal from the service of personnel.
Mandatory requirements for interested applicants are: four year baccalaureate degree; Napolcom eligibility; natural born Filipino citizen; good moral character; physically and mentally fit; must not be more than 30 years old at the time of appointment; and must stand 5 feet 4 inches tall for male or 5 feet 2 inches tall for female.
Applicants must submit the following: (1) Duly Accomplished Personal Data Sheet (CSC FORM 212 Revised 2005); (2) Birth Certificate/Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate of Children (NSO); (3) college diploma/Transcript of Records; eligibility/PRC Report of Rating; (4) Local Clearances (barangay, police, NBI, MTC/RTC); and (5) 1 piece whole body picture.
These documents must be filed in long folders: two sets in blue folder, one in yellow folder and one in white folder, all with plastic cover and appropriate tabbing.
Applicant must submit these application folders to the Regional Personnel and Human Resource Development Division. (VH Bandoquillo)
