Scolded blue guard guns down superior
A security guard assigned at the Salcon Power Corporation at Brgy. Tabugon, Dingle, Iloilo, was instantly killed after he was shot by a fellow security personnel yesterday morning.
Allan Pamosino, 43, of Lapuz Norte, Lapuz, La Paz, Iloilo City, succumbed to gunshot wounds on his right eye and left side of his body.
At around 7:30 a.m., Pamosino, the assistant chief of security, went to the guard’s bunk house for a formation before the other shift will begin their work.
Suspect Jonathan Pablico, 38, of Brgy. Amorogtong, Igbaras, Iloilo immediately followed the victim.
Without a word, Pablico shot Pamosino twice.
At the bunkhouse, several security guards claimed that they heard the gunfire and when they went out, they saw Pamosino bathing in his pool of blood.
He died instantly.
The suspect allegedly used his issued firearm – a 12-gauge shotgun – killing the unarmed victim.
On the other hand, nobody ran after the suspect who fled on foot at the Salcon compound bringing the firearm he used in killing his superior.
According to Dingle Police Station chief Insp. Ronnie Serrano, Pablico harbored grudges after Pamosino admonished her for several times already.
Only last week, the suspect was allegedly caught while sleeping on his post.
Previously, he was also reprimanded over his lapses, particularly with his time of duty.
But during yesterday’s shooting incident, Serrano said that no exchange of words ensued between the suspect and the victim.
Meanwhile, a hot pursuit operation was immediately conducted against the suspect but yielded negatively.
Serrano said, though, that they received surrender feelers from Pablico’s camp.
