Bermejo, a member of Lakas/ Ugyon Kita Capiz, urged his colleagues to unite for a common goal despite party affiliations.
He said the LPM-Capiz Chapter serves as a venue for mayors to address problems that could not be solved in the municipality level as the mayor can share these concerns with their colleagues for resolution.
Bermejo denied reports Saturday’s election was pre-arranged because the result was based on the consensus of the mayors.
Lakas/UKC has 11 members out of the 16 mayors in Capiz . The Liberal Party has only five.
The LMP- Capiz Chapters will hold a meeting every second Wednesday of the month.*
