ASEP, PICE holds regional seminar in Capiz
ROXAS CITY – The Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines Inc. and the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers-Capiz Chapter will hold a regional seminar on September 17 and 18 at the Capiz State University here.
Michael Contreras, a structural engineer and ASEP member, said the seminar will discuss the Code Updates of the National Structural Code of the Philippines 2010 (6th Edition).
The resource speakers are Anthony Pimentel, ASEP national president; Virgilio Columna, ASEP treasurer; Cesar Pabalan, ASEP past president (2004-2005); and Dr. Romeo Estanero, ASEP College of Fellow chancellor and ASEP past president (2001-2002).
Contreras said civil engineers, who are ASEP members, from Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Iloilo, Negros Occidental and San Carlos City-Negros Occidental are expected to attend.
Seminar fee is P2,000 inclusive of conference kit, certificate, snacks, lunch and other incidental expenses.*
