Del Rosario vows more projects
ROXAS CITY – Capiz First District Rep. Antonio del Rosario has committed to bring in more projects that will make a difference in the lives of his constituents.
He said his priority projects in his second term are the Phase II of the Fish Port in Pilar and a major irrigation project in Maayon which will benefit six barangays in Maayon and two barangays in Panitan.
Also in the works are several small irrigation projects in the other municipalities, he said.
Del Rosario said his programs on scholarship and social services will also continue.
During his first term, he provided about 150 multi-purpose vehicles to various barangays and medical kits for barangay health workers and also funded projects such as the modern fishport in Pilar, the replacement of an old, main bridge in Agbalo in Pontevedra, and the P3.50-million skywalk in Roxas City, among others.
Del Rosario also established a social services program which extends hospitalization, medical, and burial expenses to the indigents and allocated scholarship funds that are benefiting 350 poor but deserving students.*
