2 wanted persons nabbed
Two most wanted persons in Lambunao, Iloilo were arrested in the town yesterday morning.
Ronnie Libuna , 27, and Jose Lavente Jr. alias, 52, both residents of Sitio Manabahan, Brgy. Jayobo, have arrest warrants for murder and attempted murder.
No bail was recommended for their murder case, but for attempted murder, they have to pay a bailbond of P120,000 each.
They were arrested by members of Lambunao Police Station led by Chief Insp. Rogelio Ortigas and operatives of Public Safety Company 3rd and 4th Platoon led by Insp. Jigger Gimeno and Insp. Daniel Robles, with assistance from Regional Intelligence Division personnel.
The two accused were charged for killing their neighbor Andresito Libuna, 64, and wounding his younger brother, Endrico, 53.
Reports said the drunk suspects attacked the two brothers on the evening of Feb. 19, 2010.*JPR
