MRWD working for better services
ROXAS CITY – The Metro Roxas Water District has further strengthened and improved its services under acting general manager Glen Gonzalo Delgado, who was appointed by the MRWD Interim Board of Directors last August 16.
He assumed as acting GM about five years after the Local Water Utilities Administration take over.
By virtue of IBOD Resolution No. 75 series of 2010, Delgado succeeded resigned interim general manager Rosemarie Marquez.
“A better employee coordination and accommodation of consumer complaints were noted for the past two months,” an MRWD press release said.
The new leadership has also minimized non-revenue water losses and strengthened the revenue collections.
Delgado, a mechanical engineer by profession, has been in the MRWD for almost 21 years.
He started as a laborer and has risen from the ranks, the press release noted.
“Delgado is pro-employee because he was a former director of the MRWD Employees Union,” it added.*
